Job Responsibilities:
- Working under the direction of an experienced pipefitter foreman and as a member of a 2 to 4 person crew of process pipefitters, assist with the lay-out, assembly, and installation of a variety of metal and non-metal pipes, tubes and fittings, including iron, steel, copper and plastic
- Secure pipes to structure with brackets, clamps and hangars using hand and power tools and welding equipment.
- Measure and cut pipes using saws, pipe cutter, and cutting torch; Thread pipe, using pipe threading machine
- Connect pipes, using threaded, caulked, soldered, brazed, fused, cemented and welded joints
- Inspect, examine and test installed systems and pipe lines, using pressure gauges, hydrostatic testing and observation.

To be considered candidates must have:
- 1 year experience in the assembly, installation and maintenance of pipe systems, pipe supports, plumbing methods and/or related equipment used in construction related trades
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans and manuals
- Willingness and ability to work at heights
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 2 weeks at a time
- Valid Driver’s License and a Clean driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
