Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for an I&C Technician (Instrumentation and Controls). The I&C Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of instrumentation and control systems. Key tasks include reading and interpreting technical drawings and documentation, performing diagnostics, completing functional tests, and ensuring systems meet industry standards. The role requires frequent collaboration with cross-functional teams and adherence to strict safety and quality guidelines.
Qualifications
- Experience in instrumentation and controls, such as calibration, installation, and maintenance
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing instrumentation and control systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
- Knowledge of safety standards and compliance guidelines in instrumentation and process controls
- Strong organizational, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with teams and documenting work
- Relevant certifications in instrumentation and controls are a plus
- Associate's degree or equivalent technical training preferred
- Experience in industries such as oil and gas, manufacturing, or utilities is an advantage
