Overview:
Process Alliance is seeking a Staff Consultant to support ongoing client projects across Facilities, Utilities, and Reliability Engineering within the pharmaceutical and life sciences industries. This is a great opportunity for engineers with experience maintaining and optimizing GMP utilities, facility systems, and equipment reliability programs.
Location: On-site // Seattle, WA
Key Responsibilities
- Support the operation, maintenance, and reliability of facility and utility systems such as HVAC, clean utilities, and process equipment.
- Lead or assist with capital and reliability improvement projects to enhance equipment uptime and efficiency.
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance and reliability strategies.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and drive root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Maintenance, EHS, Quality) to ensure compliance with GMP and regulatory standards.
- Knowledge of automation systems.
- Manage small projects or workstreams related to utilities, reliability, or facilities upgrades.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, change controls, and deviation records as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related Engineering field.
- 2 years of experience in facilities, utilities, maintenance, or reliability engineering (GMP/life sciences preferred).
- Hands-on familiarity with HVAC, compressed air, water systems, or other plant utilities.
- Understanding of preventive maintenance programs, reliability tools, and CMMS systems.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.
