Overview
We are seeking Project Engineers / Process Engineers to support a client project near Huntsville. This opportunity is ideal for engineering professionals with 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, fine chemicals, clean utilities, or HVAC systems who can support capital projects, process improvements, and facility infrastructure initiatives within regulated manufacturing environments.
The ideal candidate will bring experience supporting engineering projects, utility systems, process operations, or facility improvements in GMP-regulated or highly regulated industrial settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and execution of capital projects and engineering initiatives
- Provide engineering support for process systems, clean utilities, facility infrastructure, or HVAC systems, depending on project scope
- Assist with equipment and system upgrades, process improvements, and facility modifications
- Support project scheduling, scope development, contractor coordination, and project execution
- Participate in engineering design reviews and technical problem solving
- Support commissioning, startup, qualification, or validation activities, as applicable
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to support project goals
- Ensure activities are executed in compliance with GMP, safety, and site requirements
- Support documentation development, technical reviews, and change management activities
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Process, or related Engineering discipline
5 years of experience in one or more of the following:
- Pharmaceutical manufacturing
- Fine chemicals
- Clean utilities
- HVAC / facilities engineering
Experience supporting:
- Capital projects
- Process engineering initiatives
- Utility or infrastructure systems
- Regulated manufacturing operations
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, engineering drawings, and technical specifications
