Speech Language Pathologist in Berlin, NY

Make an impact helping students thrive in a supportive educational environment! This contract opportunity is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists who enjoy working with elementary students and embrace a small caseload for focused, meaningful work.

In this role, you’ll split your time primarily across two locations: a majority at one school, with additional support for a second site. You’ll collaborate with a team of two other onsite SLPs, and primarily serve K-5 students. The assignment runs as soon as possible through June 25th, with the potential (but not guaranteed) for summer school work.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current SLP licensure/certification for practice in schools (CCC or CFY accepted)
• Experience or interest in working with K-5 student populations
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Passion for helping students achieve their speech and language goals

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and direct therapy for a small caseload of K-5 students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on students’ IEPs
• Maintain thorough and timely progress documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, families, and your fellow SLPs
• Travel between school sites as required by the schedule
