A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a smaller Northern Denver suburban school district serving approximately 7,000 students across 16 sites. This contract role is based in Englewood, CO, with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week.
The position supports students from Pre-K through 8th grade at an academy focusing on mild to moderate needs. The caseload includes about 40 students, including 10 Pre-K students. Responsibilities involve conducting evaluations, writing service notes, and providing direct therapy minutes. Candidates who are Clinical Fellows (CF) will receive supervision, but Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) are not accepted.
Candidates must hold or be in the process of obtaining Colorado Department of Education (CDE) credentials. Please provide the current status of your CDE certification when applying. This district does not accept Voice Over Contracting (VOCO), hybrid work models, or nurses for this position.
The selection process is a two-step interview:
- Step 1: Video screening call with the Director of Integrated Services (15-30 minutes), typically held on Mondays or Fridays.
- Step 2: Panel interview, preferably in person but flexible for remote participation (30-45 minutes).
The district is open to travel candidates and requests updates on relocation status during the application process.
