What are the responsibilities and job description for the Special Education Teacher position at ProCare Therapy?
We are currently searching for dedicated and passionate Special Education Teachers to support students in the Genoa City, WI area. This full-time position is available for the 2026–2027 school year within a supportive and collaborative school district focused on student success.
Qualifications:
Active Wisconsin Special Education teaching certification
Experience in resource and/or self-contained classroom settings preferred
Strong ability to differentiate instruction and implement individualized supports
Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
Collaborative, flexible approach to working with staff and families
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Provide direct instruction and academic/functional support to students
Monitor and document student progress in accordance with district requirements
Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student success
Ensure compliance with all state and district special education guidelines
