With a manageable caseload of 16 students, you’ll work closely with students, families, and dedicated school professionals to deliver individualized educational supports.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Intervention Specialist license strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience or passion for working with K-8 students
- In-depth knowledge of writing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Excellent interpersonal skills for collaborating with staff, families, and related service providers
- Ability to provide and monitor specially designed instruction (SDI)
- Organized, resourceful, and responsive, with strong progress monitoring and reporting abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and draft effective, compliant IEPs tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Conduct and participate in meetings with parents, caregivers, and team members
- Deliver specially designed instruction to help each student maximize potential in their learning environment
- Track student growth and keep up with progress reporting requirements
- Employ innovative strategies and resources to engage, motivate, and advocate for learners
- Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom atmosphere
