Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A K-12 school in Johnston, RI, is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide leave coverage from October 1, 2025, through May 1, 2026. This onsite contract position offers the opportunity to support students across a range of grade levels with speech and language services in a dynamic educational environment.Key Responsibilities:Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to K-12 students in accordance with IEP goals.Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders.Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to develop and implement effective intervention plans.Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports.Participate in team meetings and provide professional recommendations for student support.Required Qualifications:Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings.Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders relevant to K-12 students.Ability to work onsite full-time during the contract period.Excellent communication and organizational skills.This is a leave coverage contract, providing an excellent opportunity to gain school-based experience while making a meaningful impact on students communication development.
