This opportunity allows you to provide essential speech and language services at 1-3 school sites near Stony Creek, VA, with an assignment running from August 2026 through May 2027. Your Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license with CCC credential
- Strong experience working with school-aged populations preferred
- Solid communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage a dynamic K-12 caseload
- Commitment to evidence-based practices in speech/language therapy
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs
- Conduct assessments and provide evaluations to determine students’ needs
- Work closely with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and timely documentation
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute as a valued team member
- Adapt therapy approaches to best serve a diverse student population across multiple school sites
