Key Qualifications:
- Valid CCC-SLP or eligibility for CFY-SLP (Clinical Fellowship Year–Speech-Language Pathologist)
- State speech-language pathology licensure in good standing or eligibility to obtain
- Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred, especially at the elementary level
- Solid understanding of providing therapy to mild and moderate caseloads
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve a single elementary campus with a consistent and supportive environment
- Conduct assessments, develop goals, and create individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Deliver therapy to students identified as mild to moderate on the caseload spectrum, ensuring all interventions are engaging, evidence-based, and tailored to each child
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and communicate regularly with teachers and families
- Participate in IEP meetings, student support teams, and collaborative planning sessions
- Contribute expertise in school-wide programs promoting effective communication skills
