Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A reputable school district in the Orlando, FL area is seeking skilled Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) with CCC certification to support students across K-12 grade levels. This contract position offers opportunities to work full-time or part-time from January through the end of May, covering maternity leave assignments throughout a range of schools including high schools, middle schools, and elementary schools.Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive speech-language evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.Collaborate with educators, parents, and administration to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and facilitate student progress.Deliver therapy sessions targeting speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress.Participate in team meetings and comply with local, state, and federal regulations.Qualifications:Masters degree in Speech Pathology, Communication Science Disorders, or a related field.ASHA CCC-SLP certification is required.Must hold a valid Florida State license.Experience working in school settings preferred.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and staff.Location & Schedule:Assignments located in the Oviedo and Sanford areas, east and northeast of Orlando.Positions available in multiple schools, including high schools and middle schools with caseloads ranging from 1-3 schools depending on part-time or full-time status.Full-time schedules primarily from January to May to cover maternity leave; part-time roles also available.Benefits:Opportunity to gain diverse experience across various school environments.Collaborative work environment focused on student success.On-site presence required; some hybrid flexibility possible.Qualified candidates interested in making a positive impact on student communication development should apply promptly to secure placement for the upcoming school term.
