Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP for schools
- Previous experience working in a school environment is strongly desired
- Ability to deliver engaging, individualized therapy sessions tailored to a diverse student population
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to K-12 students onsite
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments to determine student needs
- Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate effectively with staff, teachers, and families to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all state and district documentation requirements
- Serve as a resource on speech and language-related issues for educational teams
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support plans
