School Social Worker - Chicago, IL

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1 years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position runs from January 5, 2026, through June 2, 2026, with work scheduled Monday through Friday, providing consistent, impactful engagement with young students during the school year.

Qualifications:

• Illinois Social Work License
• Professional Educator's License

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct social work services to elementary students, addressing emotional, social, and behavioral challenges.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement supportive interventions and plans.
• Facilitate group and individual counseling sessions as needed.
• Conduct assessments and maintain accurate records to support student well-being and academic success.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to enhance student support frameworks.
