Embark on a rewarding opportunity for the 2026-2027 school year as a dedicated professional serving a diverse student population from preschool through high school across multiple campuses. This contract role offers full-time hours at 37.5 per week and is open to a hybrid arrangement—ideally, you’ll spend three days onsite and two days working remotely. You’ll play a key role in supporting the academic, social, and emotional needs of students at one primary school, one elementary, and one high school.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active certification or license as a School Psychologist.
- Previous experience in K-12 educational settings, preschool through high school experience preferred.
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families.
- Aptitude for adapting interventions and support to diverse student needs.
- Experience with IEPs, student evaluations, and data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments.
- Consult with school staff and families regarding students’ emotional, learning, and behavioral needs.
- Participate in the development, implementation, and monitoring of IEPs.
- Provide individual and group counseling as needed.
- Deliver crisis intervention and contribute to positive behavioral supports.
- Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to promote best outcomes for students.
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation and reports.
