School Psychologist - Denton, MD

You will be stationed across two elementary school sites, with flexibility for onsite or hybrid (3 days onsite/2 days remote) arrangements, and a potential for remote/VOCO work.

Key Qualifications:

• Hold an active Maryland School Psychologist license.
• Previous experience in school settings strongly preferred.
• Expertise in IEPs, BIPs, behavior intervention, executive function, and cognitive assessments.
• Familiarity with eligibility determinations and 504 plans.
• Prior involvement in Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) is a plus.
• Proven ability to consult and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Facilitate and support IEP meetings, ensuring students’ needs are accurately identified and serviced.
• Conduct comprehensive behavioral and cognitive evaluations.
• Develop and implement behavior intervention plans and strategies to address diverse student needs.
• Consult with educators, families, and administrators on eligibility for services, including 504 plans.
• Engage in MTSS processes, helping to identify, implement, and monitor intervention strategies to support student growth and success.
• Serve as a valued resource across two elementary campuses.
