Key Qualifications:
- Hold an active Maryland School Psychologist license.
- Previous experience in school settings strongly preferred.
- Expertise in IEPs, BIPs, behavior intervention, executive function, and cognitive assessments.
- Familiarity with eligibility determinations and 504 plans.
- Prior involvement in Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) is a plus.
- Proven ability to consult and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Facilitate and support IEP meetings, ensuring students’ needs are accurately identified and serviced.
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral and cognitive evaluations.
- Develop and implement behavior intervention plans and strategies to address diverse student needs.
- Consult with educators, families, and administrators on eligibility for services, including 504 plans.
- Engage in MTSS processes, helping to identify, implement, and monitor intervention strategies to support student growth and success.
- Serve as a valued resource across two elementary campuses.
