A K-12 school in Rock Hall, MD is seeking a licensed School Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services throughout the academic year. This full-time position, with part-time considerations, offers the opportunity to support a diverse student population ranging from infants and toddlers through grade 12 across multiple schools in the district. The contract begins ASAP and continues through June 2026 (tentative end date mid-June).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments for students with a range of disabilities across five schools with small caseloads
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct and indirect psychological services, including counseling, intervention strategies, and progress monitoring
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to data-driven decision-making processes
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and district regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid Maryland licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience serving infants through grade 12 students in a school setting preferred
- Ability to manage caseloads involving diverse disabilities and deliver tailored support
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and administrative staff
- Flexibility to work full-time or part-time depending on district needs
