A school psychologist position is available at a high school in Paterson, NJ. This contract role requires working three days a week, seven hours per day, starting immediately and continuing through June 13th, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students
- Develop and implement intervention plans to support student learning and mental health
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to address student needs
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with school policies
Qualifications:
- Certification or licensure as a school psychologist
- Experience working in a high school setting preferred
- Strong assessment, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
