Key Qualifications:
- Valid Physical Therapy licensure in California
- Prior experience working in California school settings is a must
- Flexibility and willingness to travel between various school sites
- Ability to identify caseloads for the summer session and provide make-up services for the 2024-2026 school years
- Leadership skills to potentially supervise Physical Therapy Assistants (PTA)
- Bilingual Spanish skills are highly preferred
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide quality physical therapy services to students in accordance with their IEPs
- Travel between designated school sites as needed to support student needs
- Complete make-up minutes and manage summer caseloads efficiently
- Supervise and mentor PTAs as required
- Maintain precise records and documentation in compliance with school and legal standards
- Collaborate closely with education staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams
