A contract opportunity is available for a dedicated Occupational Therapist with strong experience in school-based settings. Join a supportive educational environment near Wilmington, DE, where you’ll provide essential OT services on a part-time basis, working 1-3 days per week depending on enrollment needs.
As an integral resource for students, you’ll conduct evaluations, review 60-day IEPs, and develop benchmarks to help each child thrive. Your expertise will ensure students receive the support necessary to reach their fullest potential. This role runs from late August through mid-June, offering a fantastic opportunity to stay engaged in the academic schedule.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Delaware Occupational Therapy certification required
- Prior OT experience in school settings is essential
- Background in writing evaluations and participating in IEP meetings
- Familiarity with home health and general healthcare OT is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive OT assessments and evaluations for students
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, providing expert input and recommendations
- Develop and review benchmarks aligned with students’ goals
- Complete reviews of 60-day IEPs on schedule
