Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience providing Occupational Therapy in school settings
- Familiarity with developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with educators, families, and other professionals
- Compassion, adaptability, and a child-centered approach
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and determine students’ needs for OT services
- Develop and implement individualized therapeutic interventions in accordance with IEPs
- Provide direct and consultative OT services on campus, working within a multidisciplinary team
- Document progress and maintain accurate records as required by district and professional guidelines
- Educate staff and families on strategies to support student participation and skill development
- Contribute actively to IEP meetings and promote a positive, inclusive school environment
