Several contract opportunities are available for dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) starting August 19th, 2026, and running through June 15th, 2027. These onsite roles are perfect for professionals seeking to work in early childhood, middle school, or specialized elementary settings near Wilmington, DE.
Open Caseloads – Please specify which you are most interested in:
- Itinerant Early Childhood: Work with young learners across multiple sites (SLP-CCC required; not open to SLPA, CF, or virtual candidates).
- Springer Middle School: Serve general education students in grades 6–8 (open to SLP-CCC and SLP-CF; not virtual or SLPA).
- Mount Pleasant Elementary B.R.I.D.G.E.S Program: Support students with complex communication needs in a specialized program (SLP-CCC required; not open to SLPA, CF, or virtual candidates).
Desired Qualifications:
- Active and current Delaware SLP License.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required for some placements.
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Role Highlights:
- Provide direct therapy and support to assigned caseload.
- Complete evaluations, develop IEPs, and participate in team meetings.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by state and district policies.
Schedule & Details:
- Full-time, Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours/week.
- Workday: 8:25 am–3:55 pm (Early Childhood hours; other caseloads may vary slightly).
- 30-minute paid lunch daily.
