Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Active and current California SLP license is required
- Certification as SLP-CCC or eligibility as SLP-CFY acceptable
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred, though new graduates with strong clinical skills will be considered
- Excellent communication skills and collaborative approach for working with students, parents, and educators
- Strong organizational abilities and commitment to delivering student-centered services
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapy to students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals and student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to foster positive learning outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and participate in IEP meetings
- Offer consultation and recommendations to school teams to enhance classroom communication strategies
- Stay current with best practices and emerging research in speech-language pathology
