Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in California
- Prior experience in school settings is preferred
- Comfortable and capable supervising Physical Therapy Assistants (PTA)
- Flexibility to travel between school sites as needed
- Strong communication skills, with Spanish/English bilingual abilities considered a plus
- Reliable transportation and ability to effectively manage a varied caseload across locations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct physical therapy services to students as required by their IEPs
- Conduct assessments and collaborate in the development of individualized education plans
- Supervise and support Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure high quality care
- Travel between assigned school locations to meet student needs
- Maintain detailed documentation and provide timely progress reports
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals
