Physical Therapist (PT) – Part Time | School-Based

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) for a part-time, school-based position in Pittsburg, CA for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a great opportunity to work across a diverse district supporting students from early childhood through high school.
Position Details
Part-time position (18–22.5 hours per week)
District-wide assignment (7 school sites)
Caseload: approximately 40 students
Preschool through High School population
Mix of consultative and direct services
Pay rate: $58–$68 /hour based on experience
Responsibilities
Provide physical therapy services across multiple school sites
Support students with mobility, gross motor skills, and access to the educational environment
Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
Collaborate with teachers, staff, and related service providers
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
Qualifications
Active California Physical Therapist license
Doctorate or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy
School-based experience preferred, but not required
Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
Ability to manage a multi-site caseload effectively
