We’re seeking skilled, dedicated Physical Therapists for hands-on opportunities supporting students in Baltimore. These contract positions are ideal for professionals looking for flexible, rewarding work during the summer months.
Two engaging options are available:
- Extended School Year (ESY): Provide in-person therapy at either Special Education or general education schools from June 29th to July 30th, Monday through Thursday only. Participate in professional development on June 25th. Workdays will run from either 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, depending on school assignment, for up to 24 hours per week.
- Infants and Toddlers Services & Assessments: Deliver essential therapy and evaluations to support young learners from June 22nd to July 30th, also Monday through Thursday, for up to 28 hours per week.
Key qualifications:
- Valid Maryland Physical Therapist license (please provide supporting documentation)
- Experience in school, pediatric, or similar settings preferred
- Ability to complete required district background check, fingerprinting, and employment history review per House Bill 486
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Flexibility to work on-site; caseloads and school assignments to be determined
Your responsibilities:
- Assess students’ physical therapy needs, develop and execute individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators, other therapists, and families to support student goals
- Accurately maintain clinical documentation in line with school district guidelines
- Provide therapy and conduct assessments in varied school environments
