Step into an exciting opportunity supporting K-6th grade students as a valued Speech-Language Pathologist in a lively elementary school setting. This contract position begins in March and extends through the end of the school year, with options to continue into the summer and renew for the following academic year. Enjoy consistent, full-time hours and become part of a well-established interdisciplinary team, working alongside two other full-time therapists to create meaningful progress for students.
In this role, you'll focus on a mod-severe caseload, working directly on-site at one dedicated school. Your expertise will play a key part in fostering communication and learning for students who count on your skill and passion every day.
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
- Valid SLP license (CFY or CCC), and/or SLPA credential
- Experience in schools, pediatric settings, or healthcare environments serving school-aged children
- Familiarity with mod-severe caseloads and ability to implement individualized therapy plans
- Comfort with on-site service (teletherapy options not available for this position)
- Engaging, collaborative approach to working with a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to elementary students (K-6) based on IEP goals
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment strategies
- Collaborate closely with other campus therapists and educational staff
- Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and parent communication
- Maintain accurate, timely records per school and legal standards
Position Details:
- Schedule: Start between 7:30-8:00am, finish by 2:45-3:45pm; up to 40 hours weekly
- One stable school site with enthusiastic staff and supportive leadership
- Zoom interviews available Monday through Friday for convenience
