Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain before start date)
- Experience working with pediatric populations and K–12 students, including early childhood and elementary school
- Strong communication, organizational, and record-keeping skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Previous school experience or work with children with diverse speech and language needs preferred
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in a school environment
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on student needs
- Provide direct therapy services and monitor student progress
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
- Maintain required documentation and participate in IEP and team meetings
- Serve as a resource for staff and families regarding speech and language development
