ProCare Home Medical is growing and looking for motivated, detail-oriented Customer Service Representative - Qualifications to join our Anchorage team!

As a Customer Service Representative Qualifications, you’ll work with patients, physicians, insurance companies, and internal departments to ensure home medical equipment and supply orders are processed quickly and accurately. You’ll be a key player in delivering outstanding service and helping our customers get the care they deserve.
Key Responsibilities
- Process home medical equipment (DME) and supply orders
- Communicate with patients, doctors, and insurance providers
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain prior authorizations
- Enter and update data accurately in electronic systems
- Support billing and documentation processes as needed
- Provide excellent customer service on phone and in person
What We’re Looking For:
- Insurance verification and prior authorization experience (Required)
- Medical billing experience (Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care)(Required)
- Experience in a medical office or DME/HME environment (preferred)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Comfortable with technology and data entry systems
- A positive, team-oriented attitude
- Ability to multitask and work with urgency
- Familiarity with medical terminology
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Excellent phone and communication skills (required)
- Type at least 45 wpm (required)
- 10-key by touch (preferred)
- Two years of healthcare or DME experience (preferred)
