Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cleaning Technician to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal to maintain pristine conditions.
- Conduct specialized floor care activities such as scrubbing, waxing, buffing, refinishing, and carpet cleaning to preserve flooring quality.
- Handle chemical agents safely while using appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment for different surfaces and environments.
- Operate cleaning machinery such as floor buffers, polishers, extractors, and floor scrubbers with precision and care.
- Assist with janitorial duties including restocking supplies, sanitizing restrooms, and maintaining cleaning storage areas.
- Follow safety protocols during manual handling of heavy equipment or materials to prevent injuries.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to cleaning requests and ensuring client satisfaction.
Experience
- Prior custodial or janitorial experience in commercial or institutional settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with environmental services standards and best practices for maintaining hygienic environments.
- Hands-on experience with floor cleaning chemicals, floor buffing machines, and floor waxing techniques.
- Knowledge of proper chemical agent handling procedures and safety regulations.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when moving furniture or equipment.
- Experience in carpet cleaning, floor refinishing, or other specialized floor care services is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow detailed cleaning protocols consistently.
