The Day Program Specialist Supervisor oversees one of our 12 Activity Rooms, providing leadership and support for 15–18 adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and the staff who serve them. This role is responsible for training and guiding team members, coordinating daily activities, and creating meaningful, goal‑oriented programming tailored to each individual’s needs and interests. Success in this position requires creativity, flexibility, strong interpersonal skills, and a deep sense of compassion while working with a diverse group of participants.
Minimum Requirements:
- Associate’s Degree and four years’ experience working with people with disabilities; or Bachelor's Degree in Special Education, Education, Psychology, or related field and two years’ experience; or Master’s Degree and one year’s experience.
- Ability to function with and relate to persons with intellectual and physical disabilities.
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory abilities.
- Ability to develop and implement outcomes.
- Experience with or knowledge of assessment instruments.
- PA Driver's License
