Ideal for mechanically inclined individuals eager to grow. The Maintenance Technician I performs essential preventative and corrective maintenance tasks to ensure the manufacturing plant's equipment is operating safely and efficiently.ResponsibilitiesBe on time is for shit preparation.Perform basic repairs: belt replacements, lubrication, tightening fittingsPerform daily and weekly preventative maintenance (PM) tasks, such as lubricating machinery, changing filters, and performing equipment inspections.Respond to and complete basic work orders, including repairing light fixtures, unclogging drains, and addressing minor plumbing or electrical issues.Assist with HVAC filter changes and pipe inspectionsSupport conveyor and motor maintenance tasksShadow Level 2/3 techs during diagnostics and repairsMaintain tool inventory and clean work areasCollaborate in the maintenance of facilities and general Areas.Comply with all safety protocols, including LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures, and actively participate in a culture of safety and Quality.Punctuality is expected and reflects strong preparation and respect for team schedules.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentMechanical aptitude and willingness to learnBasic knowledge of hand and power tools.Basic computer skills for using our work order tracking system.Able to lift 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks like bending, stooping, and kneeling. and work in industrial environmentsBasic Knowledge of ElectricityNo certifications required
