What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Laborer - Baler position at ProAmpac?
This is a Union Facility.
Candidate Must Be Flexible To Work The Following Shifts
Must be able to work occasional Saturdays and overtime as needed
Day Shift – 7:00am – 3:00pm
Swing Shift – 3:00pm – 11:00pm
Night Shift – 11:00pm – 7:00am

The Job You Will Perform
- Follow production order to stack 10-50 pound bundles on pallets
- Utilize vacuum lift to move heavier bales from the discharge conveyor to pallets
- Wrap bundles using paper gum tape
- Occasional use of manual pallet jack
- Sorting and lifting pallets
- Baling 3-5 machine lines per shift
- General housekeeping duties
- Other duties as assigned
- Ability to use basic tools such as t-handles and wrenches
- Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs consistently
- Physical ability to stand 8 to 12 hours
