What You’ll Do
Site Program Execution
- Implement corporate HSE and Environmental policies and procedures; adapt for site specifics.
- Maintain OSHA-required programs and documentation (LOTO, machine guarding, PIT, confined space, hot work, hazard communication/SDS, bloodborne pathogens if applicable).
- Conduct routine floor walks, behavior-based observations, and risk assessments (JSA/JHA).
- Deliver onboarding safety training and recurring refreshers; maintain training records.
- Lead Safety Committee meetings and toolbox talks; promote near-miss reporting and employee engagement.
- Lead incident response, investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective actions; ensure timely closure and lessons learned sharing.
- Manage Return-to-Work/Workers’ Compensation case coordination with HR as needed.
- Maintain OSHA logs, inspection checklists, and permit-to-work controls.
- Support environmental compliance tasks (waste accumulation areas, universal waste, SPCC, stormwater BMPs) per site scope.
- Provide data for regulatory reporting (e.g., OSHA logs, Tier II/SARA Title III, hazardous waste manifests, air/water permits, stormwater/SPCC where applicable).
- Prepare for internal/external audits, close findings promptly.
- Keep Emergency Action Plan current; conduct drills; coordinate first aid/CPR training and equipment checks.
- Report KPIs and issues to the HSE Manager and Site/Plant Manager.
- Support contractor safety onboarding and oversight.
- Some relevant experience and/or education in a similar field preferred.
- Manufacturing experience required.
- OSHA certification a plus.

Salary : $26 - $32
