Schedule - This is a 12-hour rotating overnight shift 7PM - 7AM. Training will be conducted on day shift. Candidates must be willing/able to train on day shift until they are released.
The Bag Machine Adjustor is responsible for the overall operation of the machine ensuring the quality and efficiency of the bags created by the bag machines. The primary responsibility consists of running and managing the machine that automatically measures, prints, cuts, folds, and glues, or seals to form bags.

Position Overview
- Set-up and threads materials from parent roll through guides and rollers to cutters, gluer, printer, folding device, or electric sealer.
- Observes operation and ensures that operator can adjust machine to ensure uniform shearing, printing, folding, gluing, or sealing of continuous roll of material into finished bags.
- Oversees and trains bag machine operators on proper start up and operation of bag machine
- Lead by example, with a positive outlook, through practice and work habit, a desire to follow all policies and procedures in the plan environment to develop and maintain a safe, efficient, high quality, low waste workplace and maximize the development of the personnel they lead.
- Demonstrate the ability to accomplish tasks through thoughtful delegation to others in the work group.
- Train, coach and enforce all company safety policies.
- Train personnel to operate, adjust, repair, and maintain the machinery; performing the most complex work with the assistance of maintenance personnel.
- Perform quality inspections periodically to ensure manufactured product meets standards.
- Perform operator duties as required.
- Provide feedback to the Shift Supervisor on the performance of the department and assist in performance reviews of the personnel they lead.
- Set print and gauge printers.
- Must be able to work overtime as needed, including Saturdays and holidays.
