You will play a key part in maintaining and enhancing our SCADA, AMI, and system protection infrastructure while collaborating across engineering, operations, and IT teams.
- Engineering Services: Assist with long- and short-term system work plans, perform sectionalizing studies, voltage drop analysis, fault current analysis, and load studies.
- SCADA: Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot SCADA systems, monitor real-time system performance, optimize reliability, configure interfaces to meet operational requirements, and collaborate with IT to ensure hardware, software, and communications integration.
- AMI & System Protection: Maintain and optimize AMI systems for accurate data collection and monitoring, support system protection design, ensure operational compliance with safety and industry standards, and implement proactive solutions to enhance performance and reduce system vulnerabilities.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field, and 3–5 years of experience in utility engineering, SCADA, AMI, or system protection. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, hands-on knowledge of SCADA platforms, communications protocols, and operational technologies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a small team are essential.
