Job Description:

Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy assessments, evaluations, and treatments to patients in accordance with their individual care plans.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to patients' needs and goals.
- Educate patients and their families on exercises, techniques, and lifestyle modifications to enhance recovery and prevent future injuries.
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Communicate regularly with the healthcare team, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to ensure coordinated care and patient success.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all regulatory requirements and facility policies.
- Assist with patient education on injury prevention and wellness strategies.
- Provide compassionate care in a family-focused, supportive environment that puts the patient’s well-being first.
- Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants as needed.
Qualifications:
- Current, valid Alabama Physical Therapist (PT) license.
- Bachelor’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Previous experience in physical therapy is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with patients and their families.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
