Pro Turf Lawn & Garden Center is an established, family-owned outdoor power equipment retail store located in Goldsboro, North Carolina. We provide repair, sales, and service of outdoor power equipment to Goldsboro and the surrounding communities. Our featured brands include Echo, Husqvarna, Bad Boy, and Toro. We operate both a parts counter and repair center and repair most mower brands.

You'll utilize your mechanical expertise, electrical knowledge and hands on skills to diagnose issues, perform repairs and ensure our customers' equipment runs smoothly and efficiently. Qualifications

• Must have strong knowledge of small engines
• CERTIFICATIONS IN SMALL ENGINE EQUIPMENT, KAWASAKI, KOHLER, ECHO , TORO, BRIGGS AND STRATTON A MUST
• High-school diploma or equivalent
• At least TWO year of experience working in a retail parts environment preferably at an outdoor power equipment store but including an automobile, power sports, or tractor dealership
• In lieu of experience, ability to understand parts diagrams and outdoor power equipment parts (If you understand this, we can teach the rest.)

Essential Job Functions

• Must be detail oriented and have good organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency in English speaking, reading and writing skills
• Adaptability to frequently changing environments ·
• At least TWO years of experience on small engines, and related repair fields preferably at an outdoor power equipment store, tractor dealership, automotive or power sports
• Assist other employees in pushing mowers inside and outside of a retail storefront and on and off customers' trailers
• Diagnose and troubleshoot small engine issues using schematics, technical manuals and diagnostic tools
• Perform repairs on a wide range of equipment including lawn mowers, generators, and power tools.
• Conduct engine overhauls, electrical repairs, and component replacements with precision.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting techniques up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to stand, bend, lift heavy objects and be on the move intermittently
• Follow safety protocols during all repair procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
