Responsibilities
- Direct traffic flow around construction sites to ensure safety for both workers and the public.
- Operate heavy equipment as needed, including but not limited to loaders, graders, and dump trucks.
- Conduct utility locating to prevent damage to underground services during construction activities.
- Collaborate with construction teams to facilitate smooth operations and minimize disruptions.
- Monitor site conditions and adjust traffic control measures as necessary.
- Maintain clear communication with team members regarding site activities and traffic patterns.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with construction site operations and safety standards.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to recognize potential hazards on-site.
- Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with team members and the public.
