Pro-Tops Inc. is looking for a motivated, organized, and energetic HR professional to join our Human Resources Department. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, recruiting talent, improving processes, and helping create a positive and productive work environment.
We are seeking a bilingual (English & Spanish) professional who is proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to grow within a fast-paced company environment.

HR Specialist – Recruiting & Operations

Compensation: $23.00 – $27.00 per hour
 (Based on experience, skills, and qualifications)

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8-5 PM
 Regular office hours with flexibility as needed

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage recruiting activities, including:
    • Job postings
    • Resume screening
    • Phone screenings
    • Interview coordination
    • Candidate follow-up
    • Onboarding support
  • Assist with employee evaluations, follow-ups, and performance tracking
  • Maintain employee records and HR documentation accurately
  • Support day-to-day HR department operations and administrative tasks
  • Monitor attendance, onboarding progress, and training completion
  • Help improve HR systems and workflows through organization and process improvement
  • Utilize AI tools and technology to help automate and streamline HR processes
  • Coordinate communication between supervisors, departments, and employees
  • Assist with HR reports, spreadsheets, and compliance-related documentation
  • Support employee engagement and maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in Human Resources, Recruiting, Administration, or related field preferred
  • Bilingual required — English & Spanish
  • Familiar with HR operations, recruiting processes, employee follow-up, and administrative support
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong time management abilities
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and HR systems
  • Experience with AI tools, automation, or process improvement is highly preferred
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
