Duties
- Oversee daily store operations, including sales, inventory management, and customer service to ensure smooth functioning and high performance
- Lead, train, and develop staff through effective employee orientation, coaching, and ongoing training initiatives in our trade in hvac some electrical and construction.
- Manage recruiting efforts by interviewing candidates, conducting assessments, and selecting qualified personnel to build a strong team
- Supervise guys and check on them.
- Coordinate purchasing, pricing strategies, and inventory control to maximize profitability and minimize stock discrepancies
- Implement merchandising plans and marketing strategies to enhance store presentation and attract customers
- Monitor sales metrics, retail math calculations, and budget adherence to meet financial goals while maintaining excellent customer service standards
Skills
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence vendor relationships and team negotiations
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly valued for diverse customer engagement
- Proven experience in retail management with supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment
- Expertise in POS systems, cashiering procedures, and wireless sales operations
- Solid understanding of retail math, pricing strategies, inventory management, and stock replenishment techniques
- Leadership qualities with a focus on training & development, team management, and employee motivation
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively across various store functions including shift management and merchandising
- Familiarity with budgeting processes, payroll administration, bookkeeping practices, and administrative tasks
- Customer service orientation paired with phone etiquette skills for professional communication
- Ability to manage time efficiently while overseeing store operations or retail settings; multilingual capabilities are a plus for serving diverse clientele visit locations and talk with general managers on performance on the techs.
