Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Fabricate and weld metal components according to specifications and blueprints.
- Build and rig structures, ensuring all parts fit together accurately.
- Ability to read a tape measurer
- Work with sheet metal to create ductwork and other necessary components.
- Utilize machining techniques to shape materials as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols.
- Perform inspections of finished products using calipers and other measuring tools to ensure quality standards are met.
Experience
- Proven experience in welding and fabrication, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Familiarity with various welding techniques (MIG) is essential.
- Experience working with hand tools and machinery is required.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills are necessary for success in this role.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints is preferred.
- Prior experience with commercial hollow metal doors is a plus.
