A healthcare company is seeking an Assistant Controller to work closely with senior finance leadership across a broad range of financial and operational responsibilities.
This is an opportunity for a capable, driven finance professional to take ownership, handle increasingly complex responsibilities, and become a trusted resource to the senior finance team.
Responsibilities

Manage cash activity, bank accounts, and related reporting.

Assist in reviewing monthly financial statements, identifying issues, and coordinating necessary follow-up.

Support budgeting and forecasting, including monthly analysis of results against budgets, operational activity, and key performance indicators.

Prepare monthly and ad hoc financial and operational reporting for senior finance leadership.

Take ownership of projects and recurring responsibilities, with the expectation of assuming greater responsibility and reducing the day-to-day burden on senior finance executives over time.

Work across departments to gather information, resolve issues, and drive financial matters through completion.
Requirements

Strong background in accounting and finance.

Healthcare experience is preferred.

Experience with financial reporting, cash management, budgeting, and financial analysis.

Confident and resourceful, willing and able to take on projects, work out the details independently, and follow through to execution.

Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with senior finance leadership.

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
