SAP Consultant - S/4HANA (Commodity Management SME)
Hybrid, onsite 1 week every month in Irving, TX 75039
3 months Contract
Requirements:
- 8 years experience required- Candidate needs to be a Sr.-level consultant with SAP
- Must be able to configure and train others on commodity management module
- MUST HAVE Experience in S4, greenfield implementation. Commodity management experience is lacking, so candidate must have a consulting background to assess, advise, and deliver solutions
- System configuration and implementation: Configure and customize SAP TRM modules to meet business needs for treasury operations.
- Solution design: Lead the design and implementation of solutions for areas like cash management, liquidity planning, and hedge management.
- Requirements gathering: Work with stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements for new projects or system enhancements.
- Process management: Manage financial instruments, market data integration, and hedge accounting processes while ensuring compliance with standards like IFRS and GAAP.
- Troubleshooting and support: Provide functional support, including resolving production issues and conducting root cause analysis.
- Testing and documentation: Create and execute test plans, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and maintain comprehensive documentation for designs and specifications.
- Project management: Manage project scope, timelines, and resources, often in an Agile or DevOps environment.
- Collaboration: Partner with internal teams (finance, IT, development) and external partners to ensure seamless integration and project success.
- Strong expertise in SAP Treasury and Risk Management (TRM).
- Knowledge of financial instruments, treasury operations, and financial risk management.
- Understanding of financial accounting principles and regulatory compliance (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
- Experience with functional specifications, system configuration, and testing.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
