Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
• Repair and maintain various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and steering components.
• Conduct oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and wheel balancing to ensure vehicle safety and performance.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and mechanical knowledge to execute repairs efficiently and safely.
• Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems effectively.
• Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction with every job completed.

Requirements

• Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with a strong background in automotive service and mechanical systems repair.
• Knowledge of automotive diagnostics software and schematics for accurate troubleshooting.
• Skilled in repairing transmissions, powertrain components, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brakes, and suspension systems including shocks & struts.
• Ability to perform vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, wheel alignments, tire services, and vehicle inspections.
• Mechanical knowledge of automotive electrical systems along with experience working with heavy equipment mechanics is a plus.
• Valid mechanic certification or relevant technical training; ASE certification is advantageous.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly about repairs and maintenance needs effectively.

Pay: $17.00 - $30.00 per hour
