Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Repair and maintain various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and steering components.
- Conduct oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and wheel balancing to ensure vehicle safety and performance.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and mechanical knowledge to execute repairs efficiently and safely.
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems effectively.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction with every job completed.
Requirements
- Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with a strong background in automotive service and mechanical systems repair.
- Knowledge of automotive diagnostics software and schematics for accurate troubleshooting.
- Skilled in repairing transmissions, powertrain components, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brakes, and suspension systems including shocks & struts.
- Ability to perform vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, wheel alignments, tire services, and vehicle inspections.
- Mechanical knowledge of automotive electrical systems along with experience working with heavy equipment mechanics is a plus.
- Valid mechanic certification or relevant technical training; ASE certification is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly about repairs and maintenance needs effectively.
