Powder Coat Painter

We are seeking a Powder Coat Painter. This is a full-time position with a local facility focusing on metal fabrication. The job consists of some prepping, Powder Coat, and finishing. Must have at least 2 years of Powder Coat experience. Please apply and provide a resume if interested, these positions are immediate hire! Pay is $24-$27 hour based on experience and a interview.

• Health insurance available after 90 days of employment
• PTO is offered during first 30 days of employment
• Schedule: Monday - Friday working 8- 10 hours per day and some Saturdays

Requirements

Job Duties of Industrial Painter:

• Prepare and clean metal surfaces for coating, including sanding, masking, and applying pre-treatment
• Apply powder coating materials to a variety of fabricated parts using spray equipment
• Operate and maintain powder coating equipment, ovens, and spray guns
• Ensure proper curing of coated parts by monitoring oven temperatures and bake times
• Inspect finished products for quality, coverage, and adherence to company standards
• Touch up, rework, or recoat parts when necessary
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Assist with material handling, hanging, and packaging of finished products
• Collaborate with production team to meet daily schedules and deadlines
  
  

Job Requirements for Industrial Painter:

• Previous experience in powder coating or industrial painting preferred
• Familiarity with spray equipment, curing ovens, and safety procedures
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, safety guidelines, and production schedules
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
• Team player with good communication and organizational skills
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
