Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant for a temp-to-hire opportunity at a well-established pain management practice in Lake Mary, FL. The ideal candidate will provide back-office support, assisting with patient care, vitals, and EMR documentation, while also being cross-trained on front desk duties.
Responsibilities:

Assist with patient intake, including taking vital signs and updating medical histories

Enter patient information accurately into the EMR system

Support physicians in clinical procedures and patient assessments

Maintain exam rooms, stock supplies, and ensure a clean, organized environment

Work as part of a team, seeing 40-50 patients per day alongside five other Medical Assistants

Cross-train on front desk duties as needed (though dedicated front desk staff are in place)

Provide excellent patient care and uphold high professional standards
Qualifications:

Medical Assistant certification (preferred but not required)

2 years of experience in back-office duties within a medical setting

Familiarity with EMR systems and strong documentation skills

Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Prior experience in pain management is a plus but not required
