At Pro Snow Removal & Outdoor Living, we don’t do average, cut-corner work. We build premium outdoor living spaces, custom paver patios, multi-tiered retaining walls, outdoor kitchens, pool decks, and complete drainage systems built to survive Central New York’s harsh freeze-thaw cycles for decades.
We are seeking a Senior Hardscape Foreman who takes immense pride in craftsmanship, understands structural integrity, and knows how to lead a crew with authority, efficiency, and respect.
Year-Round Stability: While our spring, summer, and fall are dedicated to high-end hardscaping, we offer guaranteed winter income and leadership roles through our commercial snow management operations.Core Responsibilities
Your focus is split across three key areas on the job site:
1. Site Execution & Craftsmanship (50%)
- Execute installations from approved architectural plans and layouts.
- Lead all phases of construction: excavation, sub-base preparation, geotextile installation, compaction, elevation setup, and laser grading.
- Oversee precise paver cutting, edge restraint placement, joint sanding, and retaining wall construction.
- Ensure proper pitch and integrated drainage solutions on every build.
2. Crew Leadership & Site Management (30%)
- Direct, mentor, and hold a 2–4 person crew accountable to daily production goals.
- Enforce job site safety, proper equipment care, and clean, professional work zones.
- Train junior technicians on correct installation techniques and safety standards.
3. Equipment & Operations Communication (20%)
- Safely operate skid steers, mini-excavators, plate compactors, wet/dry saws, and laser levels.
- Communicate daily progress, material needs, delays, or potential field change-orders to the main office.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 3 years of dedicated hardscape installation leadership running a crew.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of sub-base prep, compaction lifts, slope/pitch ratios, and ICPI/NCMA build standards.
- Equipment Mastery: Proficient in operating skid steers, excavators, and power equipment safely in tight residential quarters.
- Leadership Style: Solution-oriented, calm under field stress, and able to lead by example.
- Licensing: Valid Driver’s License with a clean record (DOT medical card or CDL is a bonus).
Compensation & Benefits
