Position Summary
Pro Safety & Rescue, Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Inside Sales & Rental Coordinator – Safety Equipment to support and grow our safety equipment sales and rental division.
This position will focus on customer support, quoting, order processing, rental coordination, and follow-up for PPE, gas detection equipment, breathing air equipment, SCBAs, calibration gas, parts, consumables, and related safety equipment.
The right candidate will be organized, professional, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial safety environment. This role requires strong communication, follow-through, and the ability to coordinate with customers, vendors, service technicians, and internal operations.
Key Responsibilities
· Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, and in person.
· Prepare quotes for PPE, gas detection, breathing air equipment, rentals, parts, and consumables.
· Follow up on open quotes, pending orders, and rental opportunities.
· Coordinate rental equipment availability, pickup, delivery, return, and billing information.
· Process sales orders, rental orders, purchase orders, and related documentation.
· Work with vendors to confirm pricing, availability, lead times, and product specifications.
· Assist customers with product selection based on jobsite needs, safety requirements, and application.
· Coordinate with service, warehouse, and operations teams to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
· Maintain accurate customer records, quote history, order status, and communication notes.
· Help identify repeat sales opportunities, upcoming customer needs, and rental follow-up opportunities.
· Support inventory awareness for common PPE, gas detection, breathing air, calibration gas, filters, parts, and rental equipment.
· Provide professional customer service and represent the company with urgency, accuracy, and integrity.

Qualifications
· Previous inside sales, customer service, rental coordination, or industrial supply experience preferred.
· Experience with PPE, gas detection, breathing air, construction, oil and gas, utilities, refineries, or industrial safety is a strong plus.
· Strong phone, email, and customer communication skills.
· Ability to prepare accurate quotes and follow through until completion.
· Organized and able to manage multiple requests, deadlines, and customer needs at the same time.
· Comfortable learning technical products and safety equipment applications.
· Basic computer skills, including email, Microsoft Office, and order entry systems.
· Ability to work well with sales, operations, service technicians, vendors, and customers.
· High attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation.
· Professional attitude, dependable attendance, and strong follow-up.
