Responsibilities:-
Project Duration: CURRENT PROJECT: Estimated 14 days

Shift Hours: CURRENT PROJECT: Standard production hours (8 hours per day – 8am to 4 pm).
>Note: As a 1099 contractor, project schedules may vary depending on site availability
Location: Must be able to travel to Richardson, TX 75081 and nearby areas
(exact CLIENT address can ONLY be shared once contractor is confirmed)
- Perform on-site inspection at the supplier facilities for electronic components, assemblies, and PCB.
- Examines, tests, and validates products for functional and cosmetic defects to ensure quality standards.
- Conduct in-process and final inspections, including witness inspections when required.
- Verify compliance to engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Use tools like microscopes, multimeters, and diagnostic software to identify faults, verify repairs, and ensure compliance with specifications.
- Functional Testing, Visual Inspection, Quality Assurance, Inspect electronic assemblies, including wiring, soldering, connectors, and PCB workmanship
- Review inspection documentation, test reports, and inspection records.
- Minimum 3 years with Mobile devices or consumer electronics,
- Experience with handheld devices (phones, radios, tablets, accessories),
- Understanding of compact electronic assemblies.
- Experience supporting source inspections or supplier quality activities.
- Technical foundation in electronics principles, typically supported by a high school diploma or equivalent, with many positions preferring an associate degree or certificate in electronics technology.
- Understanding of AC/DC circuits, digital electronics, microprocessors, and RF (radio frequency) principles.
- Proficiency with diagnostic test equipment, soldering, troubleshooting skills, and experience with mobile operating systems and hardware.
- Preferred Certification & qualifications-experience with IPC standards (IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, IPC-620)
- Mobile devices or consumer electronics
- Experience with handheld devices (phones, radios, tablets, accessories)
- Understanding of compact electronic assemblies
